Children’s Church

With Christ at the center, children’s church teaches the truths of the Bible in a fun and creative way. Services include prayer time, activity time, singing songs, and listening to a bible story. K3 – 3rd grade are welcome.

Children’s Christmas Program
An exciting time for the children to get involved and be a part of a Christmas play.

AWANA helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ! AWANAS is designed for children age 3 through 6th grade. Our clubbers are assigned to 5 classes:
Cubbies (K3 and K4), Sparks (K5 – 2^nd), T&T’s (3^rd – 6^th), Trek (7^th – 8^th), and Journey (9^th-12^th).

Each of the classes will participate in four areas…

Game Time gets the kids ready to have clubs, burns excess energy, is a draw for other kids who want an active club to get into, but it also teaches life skills; such as teamwork, companionship, selflessness, sportsmanship, attitude, success, and failure.

Achievement Time is an opportunity for the clubbers to say their verses, turn in any projects, bond with their teachers and club mates, score for their teams, and also account for their own personal scoring.

Bible Time turns the whole clubs attention toward God. It is necessary to make God the focus of our service. Bible time is a real service where we sing, pray, preach, have testimonies, and encourage clubbers to follow after God.

Reward Time is fun for the kids but also an example of how God will reward us in Heaven for our works done here on Earth. It also teaches clubbers about cost to benefit analysis, budgeting, and patience.

Please pray about donating to the AWANA clubs, each clubbers start-up kit $25. We are not asking parents to pay for this; but if you would like to donate toward sponsoring a clubber, we would appreciate it. Please contact Bro. Chris Hansen of you have any questions. He is our AWANA Commander.

BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH YOUTH GROUP:

2 Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Sunday Youth Meetings:

B.A.S.I.C. stands for “Becoming A Soldier In Christ”. This is our “basic training” course for teens. Each Sunday night at 5:00, the youth group sets aside some time for fun with friends, games, prayer, and Bible study. At 6:00 everyone joins the adults for our Family service and discipleship with Pastor Dave in the main auditorium. Come joins us.

Sunday school:

If Sunday night is “basic training” then Sunday school is “advanced training”. Each Sunday morning at 10:00, we take some time for prayer and to look deeper into God’s Word, which allows each Christian teen to grow closer to Him. Come grow with us.

Quarterly activities:

We like to try to take an evening out of each quarter to have some good, clean fun. We believe it is necessary to spend quality time with other Christians in order for us to grow in a spiritual direction. Even if it’s as simple as going out to eat.

Summer Camp:

Every summer we set aside a week for camp. This is a time when we go to a good, Christian Bible camp and spend the week growing closer to God and each other. It has always been a time of fun, but most importantly, a time of growth.
